Pilgrims performing Umrah at the Grand Mosque in Makkah can now book electric carts for Tawaf and Sa’i directly through the Nusuk app.
The new digital service, announced by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on October 25, 2026, is designed to make ritual performance easier and more convenient, particularly for elderly pilgrims and visitors who have difficulty walking.
Through the Nusuk platform, users can access the electric cart booking service and select the available options for their Tawaf and Sa’i.
The service is provided in coordination with the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, which is responsible for providing and supervising the electric carts as well as assisting pilgrims who use them during their rituals.
The initiative forms part of Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts to expand digital services for Umrah pilgrims and visitors to the Two Holy Mosques.
By integrating cart reservations into Nusuk, pilgrims with limited mobility can plan their movements more easily and perform their religious rites with greater comfort.
How to Book
Pilgrims wishing to use an electric cart should download or open the Nusuk app, access the available services and follow the booking options provided for electric carts.
The service is particularly useful for elderly worshippers and others who may find walking long distances during Tawaf and Sa’i difficult.
