The Association of Hajj Media Support Professionals (AHMSP) wishes to address the report published on 14th October 2025 by News Point Nigeria, under the editorial direction of Mr. Farouq Abbas, regarding the office of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) Chairman, Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman.

AHMSP emphasizes the importance of accuracy, fairness, and responsible journalism in reporting on matters related to the Hajj and Umrah operations.

Upon review, the report in question contains unverified claims and misrepresentations that do not reflect the full context of NAHCON’s operations or the actions of its Chairman.

The Association encourages the public, civil society, and media stakeholders to rely on verified and accurate information when forming opinions on NAHCON’s leadership and activities.
