The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched a comprehensive awareness guide for domestic pilgrims, as part of preparations for the 2026 Hajj season, to help them perform their rites smoothly, safely, and comfortably.
The initiative is designed to improve pilgrims’ readiness by providing essential guidance on organizational procedures, travel arrangements, and safety instructions throughout the Hajj journey.
According to the ministry, the guide offers comprehensive advisory content covering every stage of the pilgrimage, from pre-departure preparations, personal requirements, and transportation arrangements to identifying gathering points and movement schedules for the holy sites.
The guide also contains detailed information about the Nusuk card, which grants pilgrims access to the holy sites and the Grand Mosque. It explains how to use both the physical and digital versions of the card and includes important contact details for service providers, emergency assistance, healthcare support, and the Pilgrims Care Center.
In addition, the awareness material outlines organizational pathways for performing Hajj rituals through illustrative maps, transportation plans, grouping procedures, and simplified explanations of rituals during the days of Hajj, ensuring pilgrims comply with approved regulations while maintaining safety standards.
The ministry further highlighted awareness messages promoting positive behavior and Hajj etiquette, including crowd management, heat-stress prevention, public cleanliness, and cooperation with officials to enhance the overall pilgrimage experience and operational efficiency during the season.
The initiative was launched in collaboration with several government bodies, including the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Transport and Logistics, and Ministry of Media through the Unified Hajj Media Operations Center, alongside the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites and other Hajj service agencies.
The ministry urged domestic pilgrims to review the guide before and during their pilgrimage and benefit from its awareness content through the official platform.
