This incident marked the first emergency case to utilize the air ambulance service from the Clock Tower landing pad near the Grand Mosque.
Upon receiving the distress call, the Red Crescent’s command center coordinated an immediate response. Medical teams quickly arrived at the scene and conducted a thorough examination of the pilgrim, including an ECG. Based on their assessment, they deemed it necessary to transport the patient by air for specialized treatment.
The pilgrim was then safely airlifted to King Abdullah Medical City, ensuring he received the urgent care needed. This prompt and efficient handling of the situation highlights the advanced medical readiness and resources available during the Hajj to address any emergency swiftly.
